British actor Callum Turner is known for Masters of the Air and the surveillance thriller The Capture. Variety has linked him to the final screen-test stage, while making clear that participation was not confirmed. He can carry military confidence without losing the sense of a person under pressure. The Capture gives the best glimpse of the appeal: a physically credible lead whose reactions keep a thriller tense. Turner could bring back Bond's easy social presence while keeping the operative beneath the tailoring believable.
