British actor Regé-Jean Page became a breakout star as Simon Basset in Bridgerton and later joined the intelligence ensemble of Black Bag. His Bond following is well established, but fan enthusiasm is not evidence of a current casting offer.
Bridgerton demonstrates how much he can communicate through restraint, eye contact and carefully released vulnerability. Black Bag places that presence in an espionage setting. He could give Bond romantic magnetism and a convincing social mask, making the shift from intimacy to calculation the attraction.
