Midnight Ferris Wheel (2013)

A murder in an affluent neighbourhood exposes the strain behind supposedly enviable family lives. Adapted from Kanae Minato’s novel, it makes parents, children and neighbours part of a shifting field of suspicion. The attraction is the gap between what each household presents and what its members can bear to admit, rather than a detective imposing instant order on everyone.
