Three Girls (2017)

Three young survivors of sexual exploitation in Rochdale have friendships, family tensions and individual responses to abuse, rather than functioning only as evidence for adult professionals. Nicole Taylor's three-part drama was developed through repeated conversations with survivors. The failure to listen is part of its subject, with child sexual abuse and courtroom questioning requiring particular care.
