Brand New Cherry Flavor (2021)

Lisa seeks Boro's help with revenge and enters an arrangement whose terms are much less manageable than the initial desire for payback. Brand New Cherry Flavor makes their connection a troubling exchange of power, need and appetite. Pick it for surreal body horror rather than ordinary friendship drama. The influence is deliberately unequal and exploitative; its place here is the way an appealing ally can make a destructive impulse feel newly possible.
