Faking Hitler (2021)

The publication of forged Hitler diaries becomes a story about journalism, fraud and the seduction of a supposed scoop. This fictionalised account of the Stern scandal makes professional vanity as consequential as the forger’s invention. Choose it for uncomfortable historical satire and the question of how so many interested people can help a falsehood acquire authority.
