The Good Mothers (2023)

Women inside ’Ndrangheta families attempt to break with a system that treats kinship as a means of control. Based on real events, the drama follows their risks alongside the prosecution seeking their cooperation. Its perspective makes family power concrete through children, movement and safety, giving the list an essential counterweight to stories centred on the people exercising criminal authority.
