The Society (2019)

The teenagers in The Society find themselves without the adults and institutions that ordinarily organise their town. Deciding how to distribute resources becomes inseparable from deciding whom to trust. Pick it for Yellowjackets' question of how a group invents rules and then gives people authority to enforce them. The setting is a deserted town rather than wilderness, with one cancelled season leaving its larger mystery and political conflict unfinished.
