FROM (2022)

FROM forces residents of an inescapable town to build routines around a danger they cannot explain and rules they cannot safely ignore. Choose it for Yellowjackets' combination of group politics, fear and competing ideas about what might keep people alive. The mysteries unfold through a continuing horror serial, so this is a choice for staying with uncertainty rather than demanding a quick completed explanation. Its frightening violence is not just an occasional interruption to the communal story.
