The Terror (2018)

The first season of The Terror traps a naval expedition in Arctic ice and watches its rules of hierarchy become less adequate to the situation. The naval crew is male, but the link to Yellowjackets is how hunger, fear and leadership change what survival can justify. Choose it for historical horror with a sustained first-season story. Graphic suffering and violence are prominent, and the supernatural threat does not replace the danger people pose to their own group.
