Drops of God (2023)

The French-Japanese, primarily non-English drama turns wine identification into a test of sensory memory, practice and inherited expectations. Camille and Issei have different relationships to the expertise they are being asked to prove. It is a particularly close alternative for the pleasure of watching a private thought process become competition, with a second season released in 2026.
