Mrs. Davis (2023)

An all-knowing app offers help so effectively that resisting it begins to look perverse. Mrs. Davis turns that proposition into an extravagant quest led by a nun, keeping a dispute about dependence inside a deliberately ridiculous adventure. Choose it for Black Mirror's suspicion of convenient systems with a much more playful emotional register. It is a serial, not an anthology, and its absurdity should be part of the attraction rather than an obstacle you hope it will outgrow.
