Years and Years (2019)

Years and Years makes one family's attempts to carry on look gradually less separable from political and technological change. Its link to Black Mirror is the accumulation of adjustments that can feel reasonable at the moment people make them. Choose the six-part serial for consequences that continue into the next episode rather than resetting with a new cast. It was made in 2019 as an imagined near future, not a documentary account of the years since.
