Christina Tosi

A trained pastry chef, Tosi developed desserts at Momofuku before opening Milk Bar in 2008 with backing from David Chang. Her business drew on technical pastry skills and an appetite for familiar, playful flavours. It is a clear example of a new venture emerging from work inside another company, with the employer's funding and platform part of the story.
