Robert Bosch

Bosch trained as a precision mechanic and worked in several countries before opening his own workshop. He later judged his apprenticeship to have lacked guidance and established a dedicated training workshop in his company. This is a useful example of trade experience shaping both the products a founder makes and how the next generation learns to make them.
