Jude Bellingham

Bellingham's change of pressing assignment helped Madrid turn a 2024 match against Dortmund after half-time. UEFA showed him covering the third midfielder instead of charging at the centre-back, freeing Modrić to press the ball carrier and drawing a backward pass. Madrid then won possession high. The lesson is that a quieter screening position can produce a more effective team press than the most visible sprint.
