Hades (2020)

Dying sends you home to people worth talking to, so learning this brisk action game never feels entirely like losing ground. Weapon choices and gifts from the gods make each escape attempt different. It belongs here for making repetition carry a family story; use God Mode if the fighting is blocking the pleasure of getting to know everyone.
