Dead Space (2023)

The 2023 remake makes the Ishimura feel like one dreadful place you have to understand and escape. Remembering its routes, sounds and locked doors across a concentrated stretch strengthens the atmosphere, while careful limb-targeting keeps combat involving. Allow roughly 12 to 16 hours for a normal story-focused run; side missions add more. This is for a weekend of sustained horror and graphic violence, with breaks when the tension becomes tiring.
