The Forgotten City (2021)

Enter an ancient settlement and start asking its inhabitants questions. Comparing their accounts and testing what you think you know lets this mystery unfold through investigation rather than an explanatory summary. Choose the standalone 2021 game, not the earlier Skyrim mod. It uses first-person exploration and dialogue, with some danger and disturbing material; detailed ending guides reveal far more than help getting started requires.
