Donut County (2018)

An expanding hole is an excellent comic lead: start with a pebble and work towards swallowing the entire scene. Each area finds another physical joke in that simple idea, with a daft story giving the disasters a human scale. Around 2–2½ hours should leave room to enjoy the dialogue and light puzzles. It finishes before the central gag becomes an evening of routine.
