Into the Breach (2018)

A small battlefield, a handful of turns and the enemy's intentions plainly marked: you can spend an evening making worthwhile decisions without first rebuilding a campaign in your head. The turn-based pace makes interruptions painless, and the run can be continued across sessions. Keep to the normal campaign rather than treating every unlock as an obligation. It is demanding thinking in a compact space, with no resource-farming preamble.
