Call of Juarez: Gunslinger (2013)

A saloon storyteller's memories do more than colour the dialogue: the action can change as his account is challenged or revised. That makes exaggeration visible in the landscape you are currently shooting through. It is a lively example of an unreliable narrator becoming a playable device, with the old West treated as a collection of disputed legends. Expect an energetic, violent first-person shooter rather than a quiet literary experiment.
