God of War Ragnarök (2022)

Odin makes manipulation sound like reasonable negotiation. His hunger for knowledge and security explains why he needs everyone else within reach, but the family around him reveals what that need costs. Richard Schiff's restrained performance is especially effective at making domination feel everyday. Play the 2018 predecessor first; discussing his specific schemes would spoil too much.
