What Remains of Edith Finch (2017)

A house full of family stories gradually becomes a question about how stories shape the living. The ending carries the weight of the small actions you have performed in each vignette, rather than relying on one last surprise. This short first-person narrative deals repeatedly with death, including children. Follow the main story once; there is no hidden route you need to unlock for its conclusion.
