Grand Theft Auto IV (2008)

Liberty City's bridges and boroughs make moving across town feel like a journey between different social worlds. Walking and taking the subway give you time to notice the streets beyond the car chase, while weather and dense building fronts give the city a heavy, lived-in mood. Choose its single-player world for an older, slower urban atmosphere. This is a fictional New York-inspired city, and much of its convincing frontage remains scenery.
