A Space for the Unbound (2023)

School uniforms, snacks, small businesses and neighbourhood conversations give this late-1990s Indonesian town a particular everyday life. Its supernatural mystery grows out of the people Atma and Raya know, so exploring minds never makes the street-level detail irrelevant. Choose it for an intimate slice-of-life adventure from Indonesian developers, with puzzles and serious themes of anxiety and depression. It presents one imagined community, rather than speaking for a whole country.
