Devotion (2019)

A family apartment, television programmes and 1980s Taiwanese music establish a domestic world before it becomes frightening. Returning through its rooms makes you read familiar objects differently, with folk belief and family pressure shaping the horror. This is Red Candle Games' 2019 first-person game, available through the studio's own shop. Choose it for an intensely specific home rather than broad sightseeing, and expect deeply unsettling material involving a family and a child.
