Attacking, dodging and casting a few clearly presented spells give you the pleasures of an action RPG without a screen full of systems. Cat Quest II is especially useful with a patient local co-op partner, though solo play lets you switch between its cat and dog heroes. Enemy patterns still need learning, so simple controls do not mean every fight is effortless. Choose it to learn by moving, exploring and trying new equipment.
