Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! (2018)

Pikachu provides a friendly anchor while trainer battles introduce type advantages and the pleasure of building a team. Most wild encounters focus on catching, reducing the number of combat systems you must learn at once. Catching uses a Joy-Con throwing motion in TV play or button controls in handheld mode, so check which input suits you. This is the 2018 Pikachu adventure; the optional Poké Ball Plus is not required.
