Super Mario RPG (2023)

The 2023 remake makes party battles easy to read: choose an action, try its timing prompt and see how each character contributes. Breezy difficulty can be switched on whenever you need a softer landing. This is a friendly first lesson in turn-based RPGs, with a compact active party and plenty of jokes. The jumping and timed inputs still ask for some coordination, so it is more hands-on than a purely menu-driven game.
