A suspicious glance, trespassing warning and full combat alert create different problems. Distractions, alternate routes and an unwitnessed change into a fresh disguise can rescue a campaign mission after your original identity becomes compromised. An enforcer can still recognise the outfit you are wearing, and changing clothes in view is no magic reset. Silent Assassin requirements and special-mode restrictions are stricter than simply completing an assassination; ordinary missions are the best place to learn a messy recovery.
