Titanfall 2 (2016)

Wall-running and quick changes of direction give the pilot sections a momentum that carries into the campaign's inventive traversal challenges. Climbing into BT then changes both the scale and rhythm of a fight. It earns a solo recommendation through a short sequence of distinct ideas and the growing pilot-and-Titan partnership. This is the sequel with a full story campaign; the first Titanfall does not supply the same experience. Choose it for concentrated variety rather than a long equipment grind.
