Resident Evil 2 (2019)

A zombie left in a corridor can make every later trip more expensive, so ammunition buys future access as well as immediate safety. Carrying limits compete with keys and healing items, while defensive tools offer an escape at a cost. This is the 2019 remake. Standard has autosaves and more room to recover; Hardcore uses ink ribbons for manual saving and makes errors harsher. Choose it for deciding which routes deserve to be made safer, not for clearing every room on sight.
