Furi (2016)

The Chain: This opening guardian teaches a vocabulary of delayed sword strikes, shockwaves and projectiles, then starts combining the words. Parrying a melee sequence and taking the resulting opening feels wonderfully direct. On the standard Furi difficulty it is a substantial multi-phase lesson, so expect to practise. It is an excellent choice for watching a simple response develop into a longer exchange.
