Lines of sight, doors and the timing of a distraction matter more than clearing every room through combat. Choose it for stealth tactics in which leaving unseen is a meaningful victory. Information is incomplete and campaign losses can be permanent, although difficulty and rewind options let you choose how much room you want for a mistaken route.
