Excavators reshape the land that trucks need to cross, and conveyor or pipe connections can relieve an overloaded hauling fleet. That makes terrain, access and production part of the same problem instead of independent decoration. Choose it for an island industry where a better route has a visible operational effect. Fuel, food, maintenance and finite deposits can create cascading shortages, and it remains in Early Access; the extensive systems and some evolving interface details reward deliberate learning.
