Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition (2019)

A scenario may ask you to hold several allies together, gather a particular resource or conduct a siege from an awkward position, giving historical campaigns more variety than a string of standard matches. The Definitive Edition's clearer presentation and practical interface improvements make returning easier. Choose it for a large range of authored medieval scenarios. Later campaign packs are separate purchases, and long missions still demand economy management and careful reading of changing objectives.
