Manufactoria 2022 (2022)

Build a line that examines and rewrites robots' paper-based brains, routing the right machines through and rejecting the wrong ones. A small collection of parts produces surprisingly complicated behaviour once you combine it. The open-ended tasks reward both getting a design to work and rebuilding it more elegantly. This is a playful way into thinking about sequences and conditions through a visible factory, with the robots supplying a reason to care about the output.
