Inside Man (2006)
Movie
Released
A Manhattan bank becomes a carefully controlled performance for hostages, negotiators and the people watching outside. The robbers' management of what each group can see makes ordinary movements worth scrutinising. Spike Lee gives the detective enough personality to make the negotiation compelling even before the scheme's full shape becomes available.
