The Sims 3 (2009)

Traits, wishes and an open neighbourhood let a household's routine spill beyond its own front door. Work, friendships and skills compete for time, while story progression can let other families change as you play yours. Choose the computer version for that sense of a town continuing around you. Seasons and Generations are separate expansions, and large saves or many installed packs can bring performance trouble; the core household simulation does not require buying the entire catalogue.
