CrossCells gives number elimination a tidy frame: work out which cells can be removed while meeting the conditions across the grid. A single board is a useful stopping point, and returning means examining visible information rather than recalling yesterday's dialogue. The spare presentation keeps the task clear. Its harder combinations deserve patience, so a short visit may be thinking time rather than a finished solution.
