Helping visitors and establishing facilities can persuade new residents to settle, giving the island's growth a social shape. A shop or public improvement changes the route you take on the next ordinary day. Choose it for building a town gradually, alone or with friends, in the fully released game. Daily requests can expire, and licences, resources and shared building costs slow expansion; wildlife and exploration can also bring danger, so it is more involved than a purely gentle decorating exercise.
