Build a siege machine, press play and discover that your wonderful battering ram is better at destroying itself. Wheels, braces and weapons make the failure readable: a weak connection or badly placed weight often announces itself spectacularly. Stop the simulation, adjust the saved design and test again. Start with a simple ground vehicle; elaborate flying machines demand much more engineering patience.
