A temporal agent's assignment becomes inseparable from the life story he is hearing. The Spierig brothers make identity, chronology and causation part of the same increasingly demanding knot. Follow who knows what at each meeting; the pleasure lies in testing the shape of the loop, while the treatment of a vulnerable person's body can be disturbing.
