Assemble With Care (2019)

A repairer's short stay in town is divided into narrated chapters and hands-on repairs. Turning an object around, reconnecting its parts and testing it gives each episode a small sense of completion before the larger story closes. The puzzles involve observation rather than dexterity or earning money for better tools. It is more a guided repair story than a broad mechanical simulation, which makes its endpoint approachable even when you only have a little attention to spare.
