Steering a submarine, maintaining its reactor, repairing leaks and treating injured crew create genuinely different demands on attention. Jobs and talents deepen those responsibilities, but most people can still lend a hand when the water starts rising. Agree on roles and call for help before a small fault becomes everyone's emergency. It is a demanding, often gruesome survival simulation, not a tidy sequence of cooperative puzzles. Choose a cooperative crew setup if you want shared responsibility without optional traitor play undermining the plan.
