Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (2015)

The defuser can see and manipulate the bomb; the experts have the manual and must interpret the description they hear. Splitting expert sections between friends creates useful specialisation without anyone needing a different character class. Swap roles between bombs. Only the defuser needs to run the game, while the manual can be read separately on paper or another screen. There is no built-in online co-op session to join: remote groups arrange their own voice connection, and the countdown makes clear language compulsory.
