Into the Breach (2018)

Three mechs and a small board make the immediate problem easy to see: enemy attacks are shown before you commit. It teaches planning through clear consequences rather than a rush of commands. Start on Easy while learning how movement and protection interact; readable information helps you understand a defeat, but it does not make every situation forgiving.
