Cities: Skylines (2015)
Game
Released
Draw a district boundary, change its policies and watch how transport, education and local services affect the surrounding homes. A wealthy-looking suburb still needs a workable journey to employment, while an industrial quarter can export congestion and pollution to its neighbours. The original game's value here is the relationship between the streets and the simulation. Extra expansions add options, but the base city already gives districts distinct practical roles.
