Rental Family (2025)
Movie
Released
Brendan Fraser's struggling actor is paid to stand in for missing people, then discovers how difficult it is to keep that borrowed intimacy inside working hours. The warmth comes from taking another person's need seriously; the unease comes from the deception built into the job. Hikari's 2025 film is a useful opening choice for anyone wondering whether an unconventional connection can be real without becoming simple or permanent.
